The Restored 1978 Suzuki RM250C2 of Jeff Embring
I did the cosmetics myself. I had the engine and transmission completley rebuilt by a nearby motorcycle shop. I had them rebuild the transmission using parts from to other bottom ends I found on Ebay since some of the parts are no longer available like a gear that was missing teeth along with shifting forks and other items that were bad. Although the bike needed a lot of work when I first bought it, the frame had been powder coated, so I at least had a good base to start with.

I had to replace:

Complete front end (had a 1979 front suspension and wheel)

Replaced front and rear fenders

Complete rear end replacement (shocks, rear wheel, and swingarm)

Chain

Gas tank

Handlebar controls

Carbuerator

The project took me about a year and a lot of $$$ to complete, but it performs great and I'm realy happy with it.

Jeff's work in progress.
