The story behind the O'Mara mugen is that I personally sourced the bike for another like minded collector in Denmark ! This bike was one of 3 that O'mara rode back in the day,(The good old days) This actual bike was the one featured in the VMX magazine and their book The world's Best motocross bikes.

I have been racing motocross since 1977 and still race today in the 250 and evo class Mainly on mugen Honda's 360 and a 1980 CR250 also CR500 1987 that also came from the states in VMX racing in the UK .I live in Chesterfield, Derbyshire in the United Kingdom......the organisation we ride with in the UK is call www.nationaltwinshock.co.uk you will be able to view this website and get an idea of the size of the vmx scene in the UK At the large meeting we have over 400 riders !!!! club meetings 200 +.

My family and I recently returned from New Zealand from a fact finding /holiday to see if we could emigrate over/under there as we search for the allusive Best quality of life.I am very please to report that the guy's from Live wire VMX NZ welcomed us with open arms !!!!! And wow what a country ! But that's another story......

Ted I will try and get you soon footage when the UK season starts at the end of March 2007.....Bye for now Best regards from across the Icy pond as it is snowing as I write this email to you.

Cheers,
